Kativasthi
A circular frame is created using dough and placed on the lower back. Warm medicated oil is poured into this reservoir and retained. Powerful therapy for lumbar spondylosis, disc prolapse, sciatica; relieves deep-seated Vata and increases spinal flexibility. Variants: Greevavasthi (neck), Urovasthi (chest), Januvasthi (knees).
Netratarpana
A reservoir is formed around the eyes and filled with lukewarm ghee infused with herbs. Strengthens optic nerves and eye muscles; improves vision; used for strain and early-stage cataracts.
Shirodhara
Continuous stream of warm oil or decoctions on the forehead (third eye). Extremely calming; reduces stress, insomnia; improves memory and beneficial for hypertension and migraine.
Takradhara
Stream of cool medicated buttermilk over the forehead; highly beneficial in Pitta disorders, psoriasis, insomnia and anxiety.
Udwarthana
Dry massage with herbal powders. Helps in weight management, lymphatic stimulation and cellulite reduction.
Mukhalepam
Application of fresh herbal paste based on skin type/dosha. Good for skin detox, acne, pigmentation and glow.
